1. Scope and contact
This policy explains how personal information is handled through the Distributed Spectrum public website. References to “we,” “us,” and “our” mean the operator of this website under the Distributed Spectrum brand. For privacy questions or requests, contact contact@distributedspectrum.co.
This policy covers website visits and enquiries, not the operation of separately supplied sensing products, customer deployments, or third-party recruitment services.
2. Information collected
- Enquiry information: the contact form asks for your name, email address, and organization. You may also provide a phone number and message. The submission time is stored with the enquiry.
- Email correspondence: if you email us, your address, message, and any information you choose to include are available to the recipient and the email services involved in delivery.
- Technical information: hosting and infrastructure providers may process information such as IP addresses, browser or device details, requested pages, timestamps, and diagnostic information to deliver and protect the website. The application's request logs include request method, path, response status, and timing; the enquiry endpoint does not deliberately log submitted message bodies.
- Cookie preferences: the website's consent tool stores choices about cookie categories in your browser.
This website does not provide user accounts, process payments, or collect radio-signal measurements through the contact form. Please do not submit sensitive, confidential, or unnecessary personal information.
3. How information is used
Enquiry information is stored so it can be reviewed and used to respond to requests. Technical information and submission checks support website operation, troubleshooting, spam prevention, and security. Cookie preferences are used to remember your choices.
Where a legal basis is required, handling an enquiry may be based on steps you request before entering a contract or a legitimate interest in responding to correspondence. Operating and protecting the website may rely on legitimate interests, and information may also be processed to meet legal obligations. Consent is used where required for optional cookies or other optional processing; it can be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing.
The contact form does not send enquiries to an AI model, make automated decisions about you, or create advertising profiles.
4. Service providers and external websites
- Replit: provides this website's hosting and database infrastructure. Contact submissions are stored in the application's PostgreSQL database, and infrastructure providers may process technical information needed to operate the service.
- Google Fonts: some fonts are requested from Google's font services. Your browser sends network information, such as its IP address and request headers, when making those requests.
- Email services: messages sent to our contact address pass through the email providers involved in delivery. The website's current enquiry form saves messages to the database; it does not currently send automatic email notifications through Resend.
Links to Ashby job listings, LinkedIn, X, and external news websites lead to separate services. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit or submit information to them; job applications are not collected by this website's enquiry form.
Information may also need to be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights and address misuse. Service providers may process information outside your country; the protections available can differ by location. Contact us for details relevant to your enquiry rather than assuming a particular storage location.
5. Cookies and browser choices
The website uses a cookie-consent tool to remember preference choices. Its interface includes optional categories such as analytics, marketing, and personalization; the presence of a category does not by itself mean a service in that category is active. This version of the website does not load a separate advertising pixel or third-party analytics integration.
You can manage choices through the cookie controls when shown, or delete and block cookies in your browser. Clearing the consent cookie allows the preference prompt to be shown again. Blocking essential storage may prevent preferences from being remembered. External font requests are separate from cookie choices and may still occur when pages load.
6. Storage, retention, and security
Contact enquiries are stored in the website's database for follow-up and record-keeping. There is currently no automatic deletion schedule for those submissions. You can request deletion using the contact address below; records may need to be retained where required by law or to address a dispute. Hosting logs and backups may follow the infrastructure provider's retention practices.
The website uses input validation and anti-abuse checks on contact submissions, and does not provide a public listing of enquiries. No online transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Please use the form only for general enquiries.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to request access to your personal information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion or a portable copy, restrict or object to processing, or withdraw consent where processing depends on it. These rights may be subject to legal conditions or exceptions.
Send requests to contact@distributedspectrum.co, preferably from the address used for your enquiry. Include enough information to locate the record, but do not send identity documents unless specifically and appropriately requested. We may need to verify the request to avoid disclosing information to someone else. Applicable legal response requirements govern the handling of requests.
If relevant to your location, you may also contact your local data-protection authority about a concern.
8. Children's information
This is a business-information website and is not directed at children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact us so it can be reviewed and removed where appropriate.
9. Changes and questions
This policy may be updated when the website's data practices change. The latest version and its update date will appear here. For questions about this policy or your information, email contact@distributedspectrum.co. You can also read our Terms of Use.
